Our Story

EMPire Outdoor Solutions was founded by Michael J. Podzielinski in October 2019, honoring his late father, Eric Podzielinski. Michael was inspired to start up his own business with his father’s legacy in mind. From an early age, Michael has been a driven, hard working and compassionate individual and always willing to help others. His father encouraged him to learn by doing and have hands on experience with everything. His father’s teachings and values instilled in Michael to have a go get ’em attitude and not be afraid of challenges. Eventually, Michael opened his first lawn mowing business that was very successful and subsequently became a partner in Ultimate Tournament Series based out of Cicero, IN. Both of these positions worked with lawn care maintenance and turf management and led to Michael’s passion for the outdoors and specifically lawn care. While working in this industry Michael took the opportunity to take courses pertaining to turf management and fertilization, leading to certifications in Category 3B Turf Management.

Although Michael loved both of these positions, the events of May 2019 changed his perspective on life. After losing his father who had been one of his biggest supporters, he decided to pursue his dream of owning his own business- not just a job or partnership, but ownership. Ownership with a purpose. That purpose is to continue to honor his father’s values in a company that is driven, dedicated, hard working and quality driven.

This is when EMPire Outdoor Solutions was born. EMPire Outdoor Solutions offers exceptional lawn care that includes fertilization , weed control, and irrigation, serving residents of Hamilton County. Additionally, EMPire Outdoor Solutions also provides holiday lighting services.
